Things could get awkward the next
time Julianne Hough runs into Ryan
Seacrest on the red carpet.
The 24-year-old "Safe Haven" star
and the host of E!'s awards season
coverage and Fox's "American Idol"
have split after more than two years
together, according to People.
The magazine, which cites multiple
unnamed sources, reports that the
two are "taking a break and are
living apart," and that their busy
schedules drove them apart.
However, the two are reportedly in
"regular contact and remain
friends."
In addition to his other gigs,
Seacrest, 38, is also host of a
weekday morning radio show and a
weekly countdown radio show, and
serves as executive producer of TV
series such as "Keeping up With the
Kardashians." Former "Dancing With
the Stars" pro Hough has starred in
movies like "Footloose" and "Rock of
Ages" since leaving the dance
competition show in 2009.
News of the breakup ends what has
not been a great week for Hough.
Over the weekend, she had $100,00
worth of jewelry that Seacrest had
given her stolen from her car while
it was parked at a friend's house.
Then on Wednesday, the actress
underwent a root canal surgery.
