Dry-stone walls of the Thulamela Heritage Site were rebuilt into a Zimbabwe-type ruins. Many different aretifacts including golden beads were discovered. Human remains were uncovered.It is a site where communities of the Venda and Shangaan cultural groups were claiming ownership of the site. The events at Thulamela did not go unnoticed world wide. Tourists from the local communities and international visitors to the Kruger National Park were attracted to Thulamela - putting pressure on the site.School groups from the Limpopo Province visiting the site increased. Animals like Impalas,Elephants, Klipspringers,Kudus, etc started to disturb the integrity and authenticity of the walls that were. As a result, they had to be maintained regularly. This book's focus is more on advising the powers that be, to appropriately manage Thulamela Heritage Site. It is the first of its kind to be published.
